Cameroun - Education Striving For All brings a smile back to child victims of the crisis in Cameroon
After two failed attempts due to the ongoing socio-political crisis in Buea, in the South West region of Cameroon, the US-based global non-profit organization Striving For All has finally extended its generosity to some 300 underprivileged children through a back-to-school donation event.

This event is the initiative championed by Striving For All founder Genevieve Ngambia and its co-founder Olena Baykur.
The donation of school supplies and didactic materials took place at Bongo square on Saturday, September 17, 2022, in the presence of the Ministry of Social Affairs representative, Mrs. Marie Laure Nguini Manga Epse Oben, the heads of local organizations representative Mrs. Berthe Christine Pouomogne Epse Konje, and the Coordinating Unit of Persons with Disability, Mr. Agbor Valery Orock.
At the event, the Striving For All team donated over 300 school bags, books, and other supplies, such as braille books, styluses, and writing boards for the visually impaired. They also handed out drinks and food to the children. Three local schools received computers and printers. These donations will help children to start the 2022-2023 academic year with joy, smiles, and hope for a better future.
While receiving the gifts, the happy beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the team of Striving For All team led by Marcel Djoukeng, its national representative, and their partners, sponsors, and donors, without whom this gesture wouldn’t have been possible.
It is worth recalling that around the same time, Striving For All organized a COVID-19 awareness and relief event two years ago in Buea to assist over 300 internally displaced families who fled the armed conflict in the Northwest and South West of Cameroon.
